Vistas

I started a new project yesterday. Creating spaces with simple ingredients - paper, pen and imagination. These sketches are quite different from my earlier drawings but they nevertheless tell stories. I enjoyed working on them. They demanded very little time and gave me much freedom. I hope you like them.

Thank you very much old friend. I very happy you liked it.
It would be interesting to construct a story around the second picture too.

You know, I was supposed to do an art collaboration with a friend of mine. We'd mix our arts (writing and drawing) and then have a exhibit downtown, but we never came that far. It truly is a good idea, though.

Hey that is a really good idea. You should do it. Definitely.

You know there's a place called 'Deer Park' here. It's kind of a park/jungle. People go there for a walk in the evening, picnics etc. And, every Saturday and Sunday, artists gather there. They sit around in circles and play African drums, guitars; some dance and in some other circle poets gather around and take turn reading their works. I've been there 3 or 4 times. All of this takes place in the heart of the woods away from the noise of the city. It was quite an experience. I felt really close to nature. There are all sorts of birds and animals too - peacocks, deers. Ah.
