The World Underneath Our Feet

I believe that we have a lot more to learn from these little social insects.

'Let us be a little humble; let us think that the truth may not perhaps be entirely with us.'

— Jawaharlal Nehru (1889-1964)

small lives. it amazes me how easily we can just end them with the crush of our fingers.

Ants are so fascinating to watch...as long as they're outside my home. Beautiful pictures!

Good one. Thanks.

Ironic isn't it? They're small but their social structure is far more advanced than ours.

What were you using to get the macro shots?

Crazy Eyes!! :D

These were taken with a small canon powershot. It helps me get closer to the subject. I took more than 20 shots but these are the best ones. They move a lot, a small camera is easier to follow them around with. :)
