Contemplation Over Lunch

This photograph was taken sometime in September last year. I was inside a food joint with a friend. Next to us was a group of scientists discussing some serious scientific stuff over lunch. Me? I have a simple mind satisfied by simple pleasures. I was contemplating over these cutlery while waiting for the food to arrive.

I recently read the tender wartime classic 'The Snow Goose' by Paul Gallico for the second time. The last time I read it was eleven years ago back in 2000. I was nine years old then. But I remember being moved by the story. It is a story of immense beauty. I would like everyone to read it at least once.

Antiquity

My sister and I bought this from an old stationary store in North Delhi. It now sits on my study table keeping my imagination alive. It's funny how it landed in that old store. Could it be worth millions?
